Since May 2020, we started the Viking Waypoint Challenge as a means of keeping the run routines and logging in some miles given the covid-19 situation. Race events across the country and Europe were cancelled. It’s a way of keeping the motivation level up, and explore off-the-beaten path around Netherlands.
The challenge is to hunt upto 250 locations given by the organisation (@VikingOutdoor) located across the Netherlands. Only GPS coordinates are given, and we were to plot our own route. You can either walk or run to these locations and complete it between May and October. On each location, we logged the hunt with Woody as our mascot π We have in mind completing 100 waypoints, and to date we have logged ~171km, 99 waypoints altogether.
Vaalserberg was our second final run. Here, i lived the adage of “no blood no trail” and took a fall. Bahh…
bye bye woody
