29 June 2019, Trail du Dragon (22.8km), Membach, Liege, Belgium

A hot hot day.

Good organisation. Three water posts @ km 8, 14 and 18. More than enough, and properly timed in this sweltering heat. Route was clearly marked with the white arrow on the ground, and red ribbon along the path. Neat.

Route was not technical. Pretty relax to run on. But in the woods, the roots were plentiful. You can’t just trot along, raising your knees high enough is necessary so as not to trip. Only one stretch of the route parallel to the tarmac road were rather confusing and unpleasant to run on. Sounds of car whooshing by kills the peace and quiet. Also, a slight stretch (only 3 big steps) with stream crossing – but dry this time. πŸ™‚ Overall, it is a good route.
