Now, THE weather…
I have become more sensitive towards the weather because of this training experience. Yes, it rained the entire run. In Malaysia, when it rains, it also means (for me) “stay home”, in Netherlands, Gertjan says “rain or shine – lace up and go!” And the whining stops (really).
I struggle to keep a consistent pace (<6.00, actual pace ~ 5.40) throughout the entire run, and after the run, an article was sent to me as a reminder of the importance of a “long slow run”. Good read.

Stats for the memory bank…
The wind was stronger than usual, if you compare it with the race at Vroomshoop on 24 Feb, the wind speed then was only at 6kmh. One can say, with rain comes higher level of oxygen in the air, high level of humidity observed here 92% as compared to 40% level back in late February.
